End of a Refreshing Class

Today is the last day of a one week intensive I've been leading called "Bible as Christian Scripture." Great, fun group of people--recharged my bones a bit. (one person described them as "middle schoolers," no doubt a testament to the tone I've set. :-)

I haven't at all had anything left in me to blog. I think I'm getting old. But I think it's the best set up of the class I've ever had--it's hard to communicate hermeneutics since paradigms are unreflective and persistent. I hear that Abson Joseph had a spectacular version of this class last week!

So excited to have a significant number of Spanish-speaking students on campus, not to mention a student from Haiti and next week a student from Bangladesh. I met with a couple professors from Korea on Wednesday for lunch too. So very exciting to see the mission of the seminary increasingly become global.

I'll leave it at that for today.
