bin Laden who?

Given the justice of bin Laden's demise, given his darkened, hardened, and unrepentant heart, I wake up satisfied to find him not only removed from the equation but to find his body dispensed with.  I won't give him the satisfaction of a shout.  I absolutely oppose the acknowledgement of him a holiday would give him.  They found him.  They dispensed with him.  Next.

And I'm not sure it changes anything at this point.

John, one of the many lessons I think we should take from the terrorist movement is, as you imply, that it is not a centralized movement. It is a network, like the internet, with many entry points. I do not object to the phrase "war on terror" as long as people don't conceive of it as a coherent enemy that can be defeated by conquering its leadership.

If anything, Its a victory that will boost moral. A concrete moment that we can hang onto in an otherwise ambiguous war.

There is a big difference between "taking pleasure" and boosting moral.
