So much you could say about politics...

... but what good does it do to say it?

If I did right now it would have to do with this: What does it say if Obama, Boehner, McConnell, Reid, and Pelosi can forge cooperation to agree on something to avoid the fiscal cliff and the Tea Party House Republicans prefer this?

I wish someone would take back the Republican Party!

What is the Republican Party? It has become dominated by ultra "Right Wing Nay Sayers" that are interested in only two policy concerns; abortion and homosexual marriage. I think this is not where most Americans want the political discourse! It is very limiting!

"Family" is similar to "faith" in America's understanding, because we allow for the "personal" regarding our preferences of mate/faith associations.

While The Church has defined "family" in various ways, States are still considering how they will define marriage.

Abortion is a form of birth control, which the State has deemed legal. Birth control is a private/personal matter of conscience just as marriage. The State should only oversee that order regarding marriage and safety concerning abortion are carried out. The Church can agree or disagree as to how they view these issues.

Since abortion is a form of birth control, and birth control is a personal matter of conscience, the State should not interfere with personal conscience regarding that area, as in mandating birth control in employer benefits. This is what the Hobby Lobby people are defending, their right to conscience. And it is unfortunate that the Church thought that a "one size fits all" concerning faith and one's views on political issues...
