Quote of the Day: James McGrath

I was reading over at James McGrath's blog, and this line jumped out at me: "We are all mutants, after all."  I imagined putting it to the tune of "It's a Small World":

"We're all mutants after all.  We're all mutants after all.  We're all mutants after all.  We're all mu-u-tants." ;-)

So as you go forth today, be looking for the mutant in others.  For some, the mutations will be obvious.  For others, you may need to dig a little. ;-)

I think James McAvoy uses that line to pick up women in X-Men: First Class.

Isn't our mutation the reason it is so hard for the social sciences to come to consensus? or to know or understand "the human"? What neuroscience seems to be showing is that we have a predisposition to a certain bias, liberal or conservative....
