Are you an evangelical reject?

Funny list over at Jesus Creed.  All but two or three apply to me.  Although Scot didn't write the list, I'm getting the distinct impression that he's getting tired of the word "evangelical."  Of course he's an Anabaptist, who, like Wesleyan-Arminians, has never entirely fit within the mold of the American evangelical hegemony.

I would say that I reject evangelicalism...so does that make me a evangelical reject? I think so!

I am tired of those who try so hard to defend the transcendent, period! There is no defense. And when you say that you'd rather live Christianity than believe Christianity...it's word games, because what you really are saying is that you have a social/political agenda....to universalize.

The transcendent is supernatural, or it is not transcendent at all....that is the pointless uselessness of defending "faith" on a natural basis...because it is really about anthropology, more than theology. And since everything boils down to man and society, then political philosophy is the real debate...how do we think society should function and why...
