The Rapture is Next Saturday...

I guess the rapture is next Saturday.  I'm not even going to bother finishing grading the rest of this semester's stuff. ;-) Some people have set their blogs to keep posting even after the rapture (at least till Judgment Day on October 21), so I'm not going to worry about it.

By the way, this might be a good argument for greater training of ministers and laity in how to read the Bible in context... rather than us continually making Christianity look foolish.

Thanks for the heads up Ken, I was planning to go hiking. I think I would rather be outside when the rapture comes... don't want to bump my head on anything:-)

Yet impressive in a way. I don't even have the ambition to follow his calculations much less come up with them. If theology is going to involve so much math I'll just go read the comics :)

Did anyone see the picture of the controversial billboard that was recently put up by another spiritual group near Family Radio’s headquarters? It directly challenges them about May 21. Here is a picture of it:

No slacking off until you are actually in the air (2 Thess. 3:6). I don't want to get to heaven only to have God ask me why I got an Incomplete in Proclaimation.
