Introducing a new paraphrase Bible...

Yes, The AM is a new paraphrase Bible that would have come in handy if you were a first century English speaker. It's a targumic paraphrase of the biblical text... in English!

Here are just a few samples:

"Because both the living and the dead will have to answer to God the judge, Jesus also preached the good news of another chance of life to those who were already dead before him. That way they will have paid the penalty for their sins as mortals by dying. But they can still live again because God the judge thinks they should."

and

"So because God made wives to bring glory to their husbands, a wife should have a veil on her hair to show that she is a respectable woman when she is interacting with the heavenly realm in prayer or prophecy, a realm where males like the angels are present."

and

"And God imprisoned and has kept in holding the fallen angels who left the jobs that God first gave them and left their place in the heavens to have sex with human women during the days before the Flood. He has reserved them for a verdict of never ending chains in the dark regions under the earth on the Day of Judgment.

"The same goes for Sodom and Gomorrah and all the cities around them in the same way that the fallen angels are headed for eternal punishment. They left their own mortal sexual kind and went after angel bodies. They stand before you as an example of people in line for a judgment of eternal fire."

I just thought with all the new translations coming out, this one should be publicized too!
