My personal favorite author of the last 10 years. His "A Generous Orthodoxy..." (see really long subtitle) has really been a light to me in the realm of the role of theology in the post modern church. Politically, his ideas combined with Jim Wallis of Sojourners has kept me afloat in the liberal/conservative battle.

I bought A Generous Orthodoxy a few weeks ago and hoped to review it. But so far I've been preoccupied with other things. I like the subtitle.
