With 35 seconds left in the game, I said to my wife Angie, "The existence of God is at stake here." Immediately Eli Manning threw the winning touchdown to someone who had only caught one ball all night.
Justice is done. Ladies and gentleman, God is indeed alive and well!
God was indeed vindicated in this game!!! Go Giants!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is by far the most interesting commentary on the game that I have heard.
ReplyDeletethis is so funny, Ken, because I turned to my wife, Christie, at the end of the game and said, "you know, somehow, this game proves to me that there IS a God." What does that mean? Haha!
ReplyDeleteHow do we get God from the giants winning?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing watching the game...Reminds me of the Buffalo Bills "miracle" 32 point comeback, led by Frank Reigh in '93. LOL, outta curiosity I JUST checked Reich's wikipedia:
ReplyDelete...."He is a devout Christian and is now a motivational speaker utilizing the great comebacks as a main keynote of his speeches. He served as the second president of Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte, North Carolina."
