Nijay begins
his interview with Joel Green on his new book today,
Body, Soul, and Human Life. I have the book but won't read it till I get to my philosophy chapter on the soul. Green argues, I believe, that the body-soul dualism we are used to is not to be taken as a literal picture of human psychology but a way of presenting the truth about us in the categories of various people in the past. He is a (nonreductive) monist, I believe, rather than a dualist.
